  • You bring your procurement experience and expertise to the development of cost reduction measures and strategies for commodity group optimization

Your mission

  • You are part of the project teams on site with our international and national customers
  • There you will deal with the development of Target Operating Models for procurement, the selection of suitable system platforms and the design of harmonizing processes
  • You want to think outside the box and work on technical projects in purchasing or related areas (e.g. SCM)

Your profile

  • A completed master’s degree from a well-known university 
  • At least 3 years of professional experience with another management consultancy or in the consulting area of an IT consultancy
  • Functional know-how in procurement paired with a deep understanding of procurement systems and possible extensions from an end-2-end perspective, IT-Architectures, system and process know-how, ideally supplemented by experience with SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Jaggaer, etc.
  • You are fluent in English, German and perhaps speak one other foreign language as well

  • You are part of the project teams on site at our customers and take responsibility for the content of the projects
  • You help shape the project content in detail, analyze data and facts and develop hypotheses and ideas
  • You motivate the customer team through close cooperation, lead workshops, discuss optimization ideas and develop implementation plans
  • You are also responsible for the implementation, e.g. in the preparation and execution of tenders as well as negotiations
  • You also support the customer through transformational approaches and change management

Your profile

  • A completed master's degree from a well-known university 
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a team of a management consultancy specialized in purchasing and/or in the purchasing department of an international, market-leading company, ideally with project experience
  • Basic purchasing understanding and experience in commodity group management, commodity group strategy, material cost reduction, negotiations or supplier days

  • At least 3 years of professional experience with another management consultancy or in the procurement department of an international, market-leading company, ideally with project experience
  • A deep and fundamental understanding of procurement and experience in areas such as category management, commodity group strategies, material cost reduction, negotiations, and supplier days

Your mission

  • You will support the maintenance of data and information in the ERP system and contribute to ensuring and improving data quality
