Our fourth Sustainability Report covers the entire H&Z Group: 1,594 tCO₂, EcoVadis Bronze, Railsponsible, and how we turn ESG ambition into measurable impact.
ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY AND SUSTAINABILITY GO HAND IN HAND
This is our fourth Sustainability Report, covering the financial year 2025. It spans the entire H&Z Group: H&Z Management Consulting, H&Z.digital, aneon, and Haselhorst Associates. In a year in which Europe’s competitiveness has become the defining question, the report shows where sustainability creates measurable business impact, in our own operations and in the work we do with our clients.
In 2025 we remained a participant in the UN Global Compact, advanced our EcoVadis rating to Bronze, and reviewed our Double Materiality Analysis. It confirmed Own Workforce, Corporate Culture, Energy and CO₂, Client Engagement, and Privacy and Data as the topics most material to H&Z. We introduced a sustainable waste management approach at our Munich headquarters, strengthened our cybersecurity framework, and further developed LIZZY, our proprietary AI platform, with a strong emphasis on safety and ethical AI.
The report also looks beyond H&Z’s own footprint to other initiatives and networks in the H&Z ecosystem:
- Railsponsible, the cross-industry initiative for sustainable procurement in the rail sector, which H&Z operates and moderate,
- an EUDR readiness project with a client
- the social projects of Hirn Herz Hand e.V. in Munich and Buenos Aires and
- SUSTAINX, our global community for sustainability managers.
After an eventful year focused on sustainability, we are not resting on our laurels. In 2026, we will continue to be a participant in the Global Compact and will drive various initiatives to promote sustainability and corporate social responsibility at H&Z.
