The BME Symposium – a must for every procurement expert
This year, H&Z was once again part of the event in Berlin – for the 20th time – and we were proud to receive special recognition from the BME for two decades of partnership and contribution to the advancement of procurement excellence.
In our interactive session “NextGen Category Management – just another attempt or a real partnership for sustainable business impact?” we discussed how Category Management can evolve strategically to generate measurable value.
Key topics included:
- How Category Management can drive tangible business results
- The role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping strategic procurement
- Why scenario-based approaches are crucial in a volatile market environment
A special highlight was the keynote by Michael Pradel (CPO, Hapag-Lloyd), awarded CPO of the year 2024 by BME. He shared the major milestones of the amazing Transformation journey of Procurement at Hapag-Lloyd.
We’re proud to have accompanied the team on their journey.
Beyond the content sessions, our exclusive evening event at the German Museum of Technology provided a unique setting for networking and exchange.
During our Business Breakfast Kim Japadita, Head of Operational Procurement Directs of LANXESS, shared her experiences on the evolution of Operational Procurement and provided valuable insights into the transformation journey.
We look back on two inspiring days full of dialogue, innovation, and collaboration – and look forward to continuing to shape the future of procurement together.
