KEY TAKE-AWAYS
Leadership in a state of emergency – rethinking trust
As part of a joint roundtable with Odgers, we discussed how leadership and supply chains are evolving in an increasingly complex and geopolitically shaped world order. A key impulse was provided by our keynote speaker Dr. Frank-Jürgen Weise, complemented by insights from the Manager Barometer 2025. The subsequent discussion brought together perspectives from practice and consulting, enabling an in-depth exchange on current challenges and implications for leadership.
Our conversations revealed the following essential learnings:
-
Leadership: Effective leadership requires reflection, diversity and constructive dialogue
-
Strategy: Adaptability, clarity and swift decision-making are critical
-
Motivation: Meaningful work and autonomy strengthen engagement and future-ready capabilities
-
Culture: Values provide orientation – culture must be actively shaped
-
Technology: AI supports but does not replace leadership; real value is created only through strong processes and reliable data
