FROM CARVE-OUT TO PROCUREMENT INDEPENDENCE
How Keenfinity Group built an independent procurement function after the €1bn Bosch carve-out — delivering EBITDA impact above plan within the first standalone phase.
STANDALONE DOESN’T MEAN STARTING OVER
Following its carve-out from Bosch in 2025, Keenfinity Group had to establish independent core functions while maintaining operational stability.
Procurement was one of the most critical functions to transition quickly. Alongside operational continuity, it was expected to demonstrate measurable value early in the company’s standalone journey.
H&Z worked alongside procurement leadership to support the transition, helping establish an independent procurement function while maintaining momentum throughout the programme.

Security and communication technology group carved out from Bosch in June 2025. A standalone business of around €1 billion in revenue, building its own core functions from the ground up.
BUILD PROCUREMENT VALUE UNDER REAL-WORLD CONDITIONS
Tariff pressures, supply chain volatility and ongoing decoupling requirements added further complexity as Bosch’s established procurement structures were being replaced.
At the same time, procurement was expected to contribute to business performance from an early stage.

Business plan savings assumptions
Cross-functional collaboration
More structured supplier relationships
MEASURABLE VALUE, DELIVERED EARLY
Working closely with procurement, operations, engineering and finance, H&Z helped identify and implement value opportunities from an early stage of the company’s standalone journey.
The initiative delivered savings exceeding the assumptions of the original business plan, while strengthening cross-functional collaboration and creating more structured, resilient supplier relationships.
