Your mission

  • You bring your procurement experience and expertise to the development of cost reduction measures and strategies for commodity group optimization
  • You are responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of the workstreams and their activities in your area of responsibility.

Your mission

  • In this role, you analyze our clients’ existing software spend, license inventories, and contract structures, deriving concrete savings potential
  • You prepare complex new procurements and contract renewals with enterprise software and SaaS providers such as SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, Adobe, ServiceNow, or comparable vendors
  • Together with IT, business departments, and program leads, you critically challenge requirements, user groups, license types, modules, add-ons, roll-out plans, and growth assumptions
  • A key part of your work is developing target volumes, licensing and contract models, as well as negotiation strategies for renewals and new procurements
  • You assess license metrics, entitlements, usage rights, edition logic, and contractual mechanisms such as minimum commitments, price increases, true-ups, audit rights, termination periods, and contract terms

at any time, permanent contract, during the week often on site with our customers, on Friday typically in our offices in Munich, Cologne or Hamburg

Your mission

  • You are part of the project teams on site at our customers and take responsibility for the content of the projects
  • You help shape the project content in detail, analyze data and facts and develop hypotheses and ideas
  • You motivate the customer team through close cooperation, lead workshops, discuss optimization ideas and develop implementation plans
  • You are also responsible for the implementation, e.g. in the preparation and execution of tenders as well as negotiations
  • You also support the customer through transformational approaches and change management

Your profile

  • A completed master's degree from a well-known university 
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a team of a management consultancy specialized in purchasing and/or in the purchasing department of an international, market-leading company, ideally with project experience
  • Basic purchasing understanding and experience in commodity group management, commodity group strategy, material cost reduction, negotiations or supplier days 
  • Initial experience in the areas of target operating model, sustainability, digitalization or resilience in purchasing is desirable
  • Knowledge of one or more indirect or direct commodity groups is also helpful
  • You are fluent in German and English
  • In addition to your analytical and structured way of thinking and working, you should also have a good feel for situations and people

  • You are part of the project teams on site with our international and national customers
  • There you develop effective cost reduction measures and product group optimisation plans (Value Creation Plan) for the procurement department, connected with, for example, the application of potential analyzes, the creation of tenders, the application of commercial as well as technical purchasing levers or the support of make-or-buy decisions

Your profile

  • A completed master's degree from a well-known university
  • At least 3 years of professional experience with another management consultancy or in the procurement department of an international, market-leading company, ideally with project experience
  • A deep and fundamental understanding of procurement and experience in areas such as category management, commodity group strategies, material cost reduction, negotiations, and supplier days
  • Ideally, you also have specific expert knowledge in one or more indirect or direct product groups, e.g. in the area of raw materials, plastics, electronics or mechanical parts
  • You are fluent in English, German and perhaps speak one other foreign language as well
  • In addition to your analytical and systems-oriented way of thinking and working, you should also have a good feel for situations and people
