Our Application Process

HR Interview

We start with a first virtual conversation to get to know each other. We learn more about you, your motivation, and your experience – and you get your first impression of H&Z.

Case/Technical Interview

Next, we dive deeper into your professional skills. Depending on the position, this could be a technical interview or a case interview, also held virtually.

Recruiting Day

Finally, we invite you to our Recruiting Day. You’ll have additional interviews, meet our team and experience our way of working firsthand, getting a full picture of what it’s like to work at H&Z.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which documents should I submit?
At the very least, please submit your current CV. A cover letter and certificates are not mandatory, but if you feel they help highlight your motivation for applying, you’re welcome to include them. We review all submitted documents carefully before making a decision.
How long does it take to receive feedback after submitting my documents?
Our goal is to make the process as efficient and quick as possible. Since we review all CVs in detail, the first feedback usually takes around 5-10 days.
How long does the application process take in total?
On average, the entire process from the first interview to signing the contract takes about 1 to 1.5 months. This timeframe already includes all key steps such as interviews, feedback rounds, and the preparation of your contract. Of course, the exact duration may vary slightly depending on individual circumstances, but we do our best to keep things as smooth and efficient as possible.
What happens if I have to withdraw from the application process – can I apply again later?
Of course! We fully understand that personal or professional circumstances can change. If you decide to withdraw your application, you are always welcome to apply again in the future. Every new application will be reviewed with the same care and attention as the first one.

Onboarding at H&Z

as part of the team from day one

During your first one to two weeks at H&Z, you’ll get to know everything you need for a successful start. We provide your equipment, introduce you to all departments, and guide you step by step through your personal onboarding journey. Using our learning tool, Eloomi, you’ll have a clear overview of live sessions, e-learnings, and all activities, helping you settle in quickly, connect with colleagues, and be fully prepared for your new role. Gradually, you’ll become more involved in projects and work processes until you reach the highlight of your onboarding: the Integration Days. This two-day offsite event gives you the chance to meet our executives, learn more about H&Z’s cultural values, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the company. At the same time, you’ll meet all new hires from the past months: the perfect opportunity for networking and building connections.
