The Procurement Initiative conducted a research and assessed the sentiment within the procurement and supply chain environment with the Institut für Supply Chain Management (Universität St.Gallen) and the H&Z Management Consulting. With 191 participants, the results represent a snapshot of the current pulse among European companies.
 

Overall, the survey results paint a gloomy picture and a broad consensus in the procurement and supply chain environment:

41% of respondents have a negative outlook regarding the stability of supply chains in 2023.

As our findings highlight, this continued negative outlook encourages many companies to further reconsider their supply chain strategies to become more resilient to disruptions.
