<h2>About the Study</h2><p>The expected EURO 7 norm will have a disruptive effect on the automotive <a href="https://hz.group/insights/publications/navigating-%20supply-chain-resilience-towards-a-management-dashboard">supply chain</a>. Among other impacts, brake system design will be significantly affected by the new and strict emission regulations.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Together with the <a href="https://chiron-group.com/">CHIRON Group</a> - a provider of coating solutions for brake discs - we have investigated what technological alternatives are available. Although it is to be welcomed that the EURO 7 standard will increase the sustainability of vehicles, the industry faces major challenges that political decision-makers should address.</p>
