Dr. Matthias Ballweg is the Co-Founder and Director of CIRCULAR REPUBLIC, where he drives the development of circular economy business models by connecting start-ups and established companies. With a background as Vice President of Strategy at MAN Truck & Bus and a leadership role at SYSTEMIQ’s global Circular Economy Platform, Matthias has been a key player in initiatives like the Circular Cars Initiative and the European Green Deal. He holds a Ph.D. in behavioural psychology, is a father of four, and serves as a board member of the German Alpine Club, reflecting his deep commitment to sustainability both professionally and personally.
