H&Z are delighted to present Unilever with the Risk & Resilience Award at the World Procurement Awards 2023
Congratulations to the Unilever procurement team on winning the Risk & Resilience award at WPC 2023. H&Z are delighted to have partnered with Procurement Leaders in presenting this prestigious award.
The World Procurement Awards recognise procurement excellence and H&Z partnered with Procurement Leaders in awarding this year’s risk & resilience award to the procurement organisation that has helped navigate unexpected events and volatile environments, using advanced techniques, processes and technology.
To be shortlisted for this prestigious award is amazing and we’d like to recognise the amazing procurement teams from BD, Beiersdorf, CBRE, Firmenich. Gestamp, GSK, Schneider Electric, The Kraft Heinz Company, and Zurich Insurance Company who the judges shortlisted.
Despite the tough competition, we’d like to congratulate the procurement team from Unilver, the well-deserved winner of the H&Z Risk & Resilience Award.
Unilever has won praise for its Future Fit Resilience Framework, a response to the recently disruptive supply chain environment. Its approach includes identifying its most critical materials and using a Composite Risk Score method to determine which are most vulnerable to disruption, as well as setting out prospective methods to mitigate these risks. All of this is brought together on a Power BI dashboard, which helped ensure all necessary actions were completed. The programme helped to mitigate a €2bn potential loss of turnover in 2022.
