Leadership and supply chains in the new world order – what matters now
29.01.2026 | 6 p.m. | Munich: Odgers and H&Z invite you to an exclusive roundtable discussion featuring insights from executives in procurement and supply chain management. An evening full of exchange, inspiration and perspectives.
Details:
When: Thursday, 29 January, 2026, starting at 6 p.m.
Where: H&Z Head Office, Max-Joseph-Straße 6, 80333 Munich
What to expect:
The Odgers Manager Barometer 2025 depicts a leadership environment in a state of emergency.
We are facing conditions in which traditional answers no longer work – and leaders are forced to reinvent themselves.
Three findings stand out – and they are uncomfortable:
39% of executives plan to change roles within the next 12 months.
Confidence in stability is eroding faster than companies can respond.91% name communication as the most critical future skill.
Strategy alone is no longer enough – it is about resonance, direction and integrity.40% expect shorter customer–supplier relationships: For the CPO, that means faster decisions and more frequent realignment.
Against this backdrop, we invite you to join us and Odgers for an evening where we will not talk about “best practices”, but about what is truly urgent:
How can customer–supplier relationships be rethought strategically?
What role does trust play in an increasingly volatile environment?
How can organisations reshape collaboration to remain resilient?
Keynote-Speaker:
Dr. Frank-Jürgen Weise

As the long-standing Chairman of the Executive Board of the Federal Employment Agency, as well as the head of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees during the 2015/16 crisis, and Chairman of the Bundeswehr Structural Commission, he strategically realigned complex public authorities and large organizations. With his background as a long-serving active officer, followed by executive roles in the private sector and, most recently, as CEO of the Hertie Foundation, he stands for a distinctly implementation-oriented approach.
