Our process works like this: We start with a short phone or Teams interview to get to know you, your motivation, goals, and expectations. We want to understand why you want to be part of our team and why you’re specifically interested in us. After that, we conduct a technical or case interview via Teams.
If the feedback is positive, we’ll invite you to our office to finally meet you in person. There, you'll get to know some of your potential future colleagues and our departments. Our goal is to give you an in-depth and authentic impression of our processes and structures, but more importantly, of who we are. The day in our office is about your professional qualifications, the experiences you bring with you, and your expectations. We especially want to get to know you as a person. We’d like to take this opportunity to get to know you as a person because we’re convinced: successfull project and team integration comes with good chemistry.
To help you get a feel for us as well, we’ll also introduce you to our company culture on that day and show you the development opportunities we offer. Ask us anything! If we feel you're a good fit for us, we often decide by the end of the day to make you an offer. And we hope you’ll choose us, too.
If you join us, we want to ensure the best possible start from day one. That’s why you’ll go through an intensive onboarding process: During your first two weeks, you'll have meetings with various colleagues and gain deep insights into our processes, while getting to know us as a team. This is your opportunity to ask questions, settle in, and feel comfortable. To give you a consistent point of contact, we’ll also introduce you to your mentor and coach on your first day, people who will support you both professionally and personally.
We’re excited about your start with us! That’s why we’ll welcome you during our monthly "Jour Fixe" on the first Friday of the month, where you’ll have breakfast with the team and be introduced. We also aim to become a truly great team. That’s why all new employees take part in our two-day “Integration Days” during their first few months, led by two h&z partners. For example, you might retreat to a mountain cabin, where you’ll dive into our culture and way of working, and share your initial experiences and expectations. Team activities such as hiking or visiting a climbing park are also part of the program, it’s a lot of fun and helps you grow closer together!
