Your start: This is how we get to know each other
A recruiting process is exciting, but don't worry: we take the time to really get to know you and show you who we are.

And this is how it works with us: We start with a short telephone interview to get to know you, your wishes, and ideas. We want to find out why you want to become part of our business functions and exactly what you want to do here. We’ll  then conduct a video interview and invite you to our office if the interview goes well. There you’ll  get to meet some people who might be your future colleagues. We want to give you an intensive and authentic impression of our processes and structures, but above all of us.

 

This meeting is about your professional suitability, what experience you bring, and what expectations you have. In particular, we want to get to know you as a person because we’re convinced that to work successfully in a team later on, the chemistry between us must be right.

 

So that you also get a feeling for us, we want to give you an understanding of our corporate culture on this day and show you what development opportunities you’ll have with us. Ask us anything! If we have the feeling that you’re a good fit, we often decide at the end of this day that we’ll make you an offer. And we hope that you’ll also decide to join us!

 

When you start with us, we want to give you the best possible start from day one! That's why you'll receive intensive onboarding: In the first two weeks of work, you’ll be given deep insights into our processes during appointments with different employees and get to know us better as a team This is your opportunity to ask questions, arrive and feel comfortable! To ensure that you always have a fixed point of contact, we’ll introduce you to your mentor on your first day, who will support you both personally and in terms of content.

We’re happy that you’re starting with us! That's why we’ll welcome you with champagne and lunch and introduce you to our team at our Jour fixe on the first Friday of the month. We want to become a really good team, which is why we offer all new employees a two-day integration camp run by two H&Z partners in the first few months of work. For this you’ll retreat to a mountain hut, for example, where there’ll be an intensive exchange about our culture and work, before you share with us your first experiences and expectations. Then we’ll enjoy some fun bonding activities together such as hikes or a visit to a high ropes course.

Women‘s World
Diversity management and equal opportunities are not just theory for us, but a living culture.

We support our consultants through personal mentoring and an individually designed career strategy. We tailor mentoring precisely to your personal needs and situation.
We also consider networking and personal exchanges to be essential building blocks for the successful advancement of women.

 

We wanted to establish a suitable forum for this and have created the Female Consultants Club (FCC). Our aim here is to strengthen the common bonds between our female consultants and to promote dialogue about clients and ongoing projects, as well as personal development topics. But at the same time, the FCC has developed into a space where internal company issues relating to equal opportunities are openly discussed.

 

How can employees at all levels be recruited in a targeted manner? How can we better reconcile work and family life? How can we promote diversity even more strongly in our teams? These are topics that drive our vision forward.

The HIVE/ the builidng
A feel-good oasis created to our taste: we’ve put a lot of love and great ideas into our new office in downtown Munich. And we think it has paid off. In the modern new building, we’ve plenty of space for the structures that make our work easier. But we’ve also created a real place for people to meet thanks to our terrace, balcony, and innovative rooms. Our superb location in the middle of the city means we’re not only easily accessible, we can also get to where we need to go with ease, especially to the many nearby restaurants during lunch break!

 

 

 

Reception/Entrance
Come to stay. People entering our HIVE office in Munich through the bright entrance area are happy to linger there for a while. First, the greeting they receive makes them feel good and then there is the irresistible combination of delicious fresh fruits and sweets on offer!

 

 

 

Terrace und Bar Centrale
At work and yet still in the fresh air. Our terrace is an inviting area to take breaks outdoors, and a great place to develop ideas together in smaller teams. It’s also the location of after-work  barbecues. The HIVE is not just an office, but a real meeting place with intelligently designed rooms where our employees, customers, alumni and friends feel comfortable. We also encourage people to get together in our in-house bar, where we round off the day with an after-work drink or two.

 

 

 

Coffee machine
Since the purchase of a large portafilter machine, some employees have become hobby baristas and like to serve the team aromatic coffees between meals. However, the machine is used most during the Friday jour fixe. This is when the most important updates and developments are presented in the cozy bar while the team exchanges ideas over coffee and breakfast.

 

 

 

Color concept meeting room
Our office is as colorful as we are: Each floor has its own color concept, and there’s a distinctive idea behind the design and furnishings of each meeting room. Whether you go to the Bavarian world in the Stüberl meeting room, sit on movable cube elements in the Cubes, or sit opposite the stone shark during a customer call in the Aquarium, every room encourages you to think differently.

 

 

 

Open Space Office
Rooms with personality: It's fun to sit down in the differently colored coffee corners on each floor, to use the pink telephone boxes, to exchange ideas with colleagues in the open space area or to sink into your own work in our quiet zone. Since our back-office functions are spread across all floors, you always meet very different colleagues - the perfect concept for us, because we love to stay in touch!
